The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Saturday, May 2, declared the results for Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). Overall, the pass percentage in the Class 12 examination stood at 89.79 per cent, as girls once again outshone boys in the state-wide tally.

The download link for the results has been activated on the board’s official portal, hscresult.mahahsscboard.in.

Class 12 students will be able to access their HSC scorecards on the board’s official websites, mahahsscboard.in and hscresult.mkcl.org. Apart from this, the board provides Class 12 students alternate platforms to download the 12th marksheets.

This time, girls secured a pass percentage of 93.15 against boys’ 86.80 per cent, according to results shared by Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) chairperson, Trigun Kulkarni.

In total, 14,44,713 students had registered for the Higher Secondary School (HSC) examination, while 14,33,058 appeared for it. Overall, 12,86,843 students have passed the examination, which was conducted in February and March.

The Konkan division secured the highest pass percentage of 94.14. It is followed by Pune with 91.25 per cent, Amravati with 90.92 per cent, Nashik with 90.72 per cent, Mumbai with 90.08 per cent, Kolhapur with 89.97 per cent, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar 88.68 per cent and Latur marking the lowest at 84.14 per cent.

The pass percentage for Science stream was 96.44 per cent, while Commerce, Vocational, ITI, and Arts streams witnessed 87.03 per cent, 82.74 per cent, 81.78 per cent and 78.02 per cent, respectively.

How to download HSC scorecard via DigiLocker?

Follow these steps to download the Maharashtra HSC result 2026 via DigiLocker:

Step 1: Download the DigiLocker application on your device or visit the official website at digilocker.gov.in

Step 2: Look out for ‘Education and Learning’ section on the dashboard and search for Step 4: ‘Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune’ in the search bar on the top.

Step 3: Select ‘Class XII Marksheet’ from the menu.

Step 4: Mention your roll number and others details. Click on submit button.

Apart from this, students can also check their results using the SMS facility. For this, they need to type MHHSC<SPACE>Seat Number and send it to 57766 to check their HSC result over an SMS.

The 2026 examinations were held across nine divisions in the state, including Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan.
